ВВЕДЕНИЕ В ПРОБЛЕМАТИКУ

Аннотация. Цель работы: исследование современные проблемы сохранения и восстановления экосистем торфяников, причины попадания этих экосистем в перечень экосистем, нуждающихся в восстановлении на глобальном уровне и оценка возможности национальной повестки развития России для преодоления проблемы эффективного восстановления торфяников в рамках международной инициативы ООН. Объект исследования: проблемы сохранения и восстановления экосистем торфяников в глобальном экологическом балансе и контексте международных инициатив ООН. Предмет исследования: международный процесс коммуникации в контексте сохранения и восстановления торфяников. В работе приведён обзор истории вопроса и роль международных организаций в сохранении и восстановлении торфяников, актуализирована тематика деградации экосистем торфяников на глобальном уровне, а также изучены международные инициативы, работающие в контексте проблематики.
Abstract. The purpose of the work is to study the current problems of preserving and restoring peatland ecosystems, the reasons for including these ecosystems in the list of ecosystems that need to be restored at the global level, and to assess the possibility of using Russia's national development agenda to overcome the problem of effective restoration of peatlands as part of the international UN initiative. The object of the study is the problems of preserving and restoring peatland ecosystems in the global ecological balance and the context of international UN initiatives. The subject of the study is the international communication process in the context of preserving and restoring peatlands. The paper provides an overview of the history of the issue and the role of international organizations in the preservation and restoration of peatlands, highlights the degradation of peatland ecosystems at the global level, and examines international initiatives working on this issue.
